Carmen Teixeira Antelo, with tax identification number 25667670S, is the owner of www.espanolconcarmen.com (hereinafter the ‘website’), hereinafter the ‘ADMINISTRATOR’, with a registered address for notification purposes at Calle Cardo Cuco, 14, 29018 Málaga, and a contact email address of [email protected].

2. Users.

The term ‘user’ refers to any person who browses the website, accessing any of its pages or sections; simply accessing and/or using this website is sufficient, and by doing so, the user accepts the terms and conditions set out herein.

Should the user wish to purchase or subscribe to any of the ADMINISTRATOR’s training programmes (such as Women’s Talk in Spanish, Readers’ Talk in Spanish or Spanish Laboratory), the General Terms and Conditions of Sale shall also apply and must be strictly adhered to.

3. Intellectual Property Data.

The ADMINISTRATOR is the owner of all intellectual and industrial property rights relating to the website, as well as the training materials and services contained therein. By way of example, but not limited to, these include: images, sound, photographs, videos, software, texts, trademarks, logos, weekly workbooks, vocabulary lists, reading selections, group session methodologies, structure, design and programmes necessary for its operation.

The reproduction, distribution and public communication, including making available, of all or part of the website’s content or course materials, in any format and by any technical means, whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes, is expressly prohibited without the ADMINISTRATOR’s authorisation.

The user undertakes to respect the copyright held by the ADMINISTRATOR. You may view, print or save downloadable resources (such as the Women’s Talk workbooks or the Laboratory vocabulary) on a device solely and exclusively for your own personal and private use; under no circumstances may you distribute them to third parties, reproduce them for a fee or free of charge, or make any alterations to them.

4. Rules for use of the website.

All graphic, textual and multimedia content, as well as documentation provided in the various discussion groups (WTInS, RTInS) and subscriptions, is the property of the ADMINISTRATOR and is protected by national and international copyright laws.

The user assumes responsibility for the use of the website and the spaces used for teaching (Zoom virtual rooms, shared Google Drive folders), and may not use them to:

  • Carrying out activities that are unlawful, illegal or contrary to morality, good customs, good faith and public order,
  • Making comments or disseminating content that is racist, xenophobic, pornographic, in support of terrorism or that violates human rights in group conversation or reading sessions,
  • Causing physical, intellectual or moral harm to the ADMINISTRATOR, its suppliers or other students in the class groups,
  • Introducing or disseminating computer viruses online,
  • Recording, capturing on video, audio or photograph the online sessions (via Zoom) without the express consent of the ADMINISTRATOR and the other members of the group.

Once registered for any subscription programme or class package, it is the user’s responsibility:

  • To be accountable for all activities carried out once they have logged in using their credentials.
  • To notify [email protected] of any changes to the details provided.
  • Safeguarding their login details, keeping their account passwords and access links to private Zoom sessions in a secure place, and not sharing them with third parties outside the contracted service.
  • Notifying the administration email address of any suspected breach of their login details.
  • Downloading the accessible content solely for private use, without authorisation for resale or commercial use.

The website administrators reserve the right to deny access to or remove from Zoom sessions any users who fail to comply with the established rules or who disrupt the normal course of the discussion groups.

5. Modifications.

The ADMINISTRATOR reserves the right to make, without prior notice, any changes it deems appropriate to the website, and may alter, remove or add content, chat groups, timetables and services provided via the website, as well as the design and structure of the site.

6. Links.

The ADMINISTRATOR has no control whatsoever over any external links and/or content that may appear on the website; consequently, it accepts no responsibility for them, nor does it guarantee the technical availability, quality or accuracy of any material contained therein, and this does not imply any association with the owners of such domains.

7. Right of exclusion.

The ADMINISTRATOR reserves the right to deny or withdraw access to the website and/or the training services offered without prior notice, at its own discretion or at the request of a third party, to any users who fail to comply with these terms and conditions.

The ADMINISTRATOR has taken all necessary technical measures to prevent damage or loss of any kind. However, it accepts no liability for any service interruptions, unavailability of the website or temporary outages of the video-conferencing platform (Zoom) beyond its control.

The user must refrain from deleting, altering, circumventing or tampering with any protection device or security system installed on the website.

The ADMINISTRATOR may take civil or criminal legal action against any person who misuses the content of the website or the downloadable materials, or who breaches these terms. Spanish law shall apply. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Málaga (Spain), as this is the registered office of the website owner, unless consumer protection law provides for a different jurisdiction.
